Bio: Joseph Conrad is a tough, experienced soldier. He's one of the few people to have survived a large scale Swarm planet invasion, an experience which made him the man he is today. A strong commander, he knows his team well and makes sure they're good enough for the task at hand.

Bio: Karl Jaeger is a large, strong man of German descent. He has served in the IAF for a number of years and has known Conrad for a long time, having seen many battles together.

Bio: Wildcat is a fiery young soldier, one of the few trained to use the special IAF heat tracking weapons. She signed up after losing a close friend to the bugs when they broke into a long distance transport ship while everyone was in hypersleep. She saw the flight recorder vids, the bugs swarming through a hole they'd dug in the hull and popping the cryo tubes like eggs. She's got a mean streak and you can see the fire in her eyes when she's hunting.

Bio: Thomas Wolfe is an ex-convict. A year's service in the Interstellar Armed Forces was part of his criminal sentence, most of which he spent crushing the desert riots of the notoriously inhospitable Hatal 9. By the time his sentence was up, he'd turned into a ruthless soldier and was consequently offered his current position in Special Ops.

Bio: Faith has the soul of a medic. She's here to help people and believes in the Interstellar Armed Forces' mission to protect the Allied Systems against the ravages of hostile alien life. Despite having seen plenty of action in service she still has an almost na�ve air of innocence about her.

Bio: Leon Bastille grew up back on Earth in France. In his early teens he and his family were forced offworld due to the absurdly high living costs, which skyrocketed in the late 30's despite government assurances to the contrary. Searching for work on far off colony worlds, he subsequently lost both parents and his older brother to an alien disease they contracted while stowed away on a cheap cargo hauler. Bastille is a naturally suspicious man, but a competent medic.

Bio: David Murphy, reputedly a child hacker genius at tech school, didn't take long to fall onto the wrong side of the law. At the age of 21, he was reponsible for the notorious Starbase Systems Crash, allegedly costing the Trade Leagues millions in lost credits. Murphy is now serving time in the IAF as part of his sentence.

Bio: Flynn's face is marred by a huge scar running across his left eye. No-one knows much about him, except that he grew up somewhere back on Earth. He talks little, his one good eye ever watchful. Flynn is an expert at security systems.

Bio: Vegas has a natural talent for counting and memorizing, a skill he put to good use developing dozens of systems for winning at poker, blackjack and other gambling house games. However, fortune is fickle, and after racking up massive debts and angering some important people, he had to get out. Vegas joined the IAF so he could earn the money to pay back his debts (or a sizeable starter money so he can win the rest), and to temporarily get away from those people who wouldn't hesitate to crush his kneecaps.
